20:45-21:00 ~ Arrival & Getting Ready
Please note: if you do not arrive by 21:00, you will not be able to join the class as the entrance will be locked outside of arrival time.
21:00-22:15 ~ WCS Intermediate: Level 3 🩰
22:15-23:00 ~ Social Dancing 🕺
✅ Each lesson includes in depth teaching and application + social dancing to further immerse yourself into what you learned.
✅ A recap video will be created and uploaded to the WhatsApp “WCSE Course Group Chat” after every class.
✅ We will also post a sneak-peak into the agenda for the next class up to 2 days in advance to each class!
West Coast Swing Intermediate: Level 3
This intermediate course will cover 1-3 overarching topics over 6 classes.
The theme for this series:
Pre-leading patterns as Leads
Suggestive-leading patterns as Follows
Direction and Follow-Through
Learn to balance your dance without overthinking or saying too much at once. Pre-leading is essential to the Leaders Toolkit to create involved and adaptive leadership styles.
Suggestive leadership: How can we suggest an idea or pattern for our leads to lead the pattern we want in the moment? Learn to suggest your ideas on time, and in the music.
Sometimes our direction is all over the place and it may not be intentional! Let’s hone in on our teqnichue and movement to create a clear direction and follow-through, even when we don’t actively “plan” for it! This will improve your impovisation and stylisation to a completely new dimension~
